Types of cutters
The round tungsten milling cutters are found in the SXM series, the Speed-cut cutters and the Speed Plus cutters. These three series are also called the gold cutters. The gold protective layer is formed by Titan-Nitrile. Tungsten cutters with Titan-Nitrile stay sharp longer and are easier to clean than conventional tungsten steel.
The standard tungsten cutters with teeth, the so-called cross-hatched cutters, are ordered under the GQSR and MQS series. Although a tungsten cutter is basically not suitable for fine machining of surfaces, the SNC cutters from Busch have special cutting edges for smooth surfaces. The tungsten cutters with X-spline are available from fine to extra coarse. The double-cut allows you to remove thick layers of material right up to outlining nails.
